We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you need to return an item, please review the policy below. 

30-Day Return Window 

You have 30 days from delivery to request a return.

Return Eligibility 

  • Items must be unused, uninstalled, and returned in the same condition as received, including all original packaging and accessories.
  • Custom‑built items are not returnable.
  • For equipment that contains/could contain fluids (e.g., pumps, gearboxes):
    • If opened/removed from factory‑sealed packaging, item must be fully drained, cleaned, and sealed; reinstall all original plugs.
    • Unopened, factory‑sealed items do not require fluid drainage.

        Returns vs. Warranty

        Returns for refund or store credit are handled under this policy.

        Warranty claims are handled separately and are intended for evaluation of manufacturing or workmanship defects only. If you believe your issue may be warranty‑related, please review our Warranty Policy to submit a claim.


        How to Start a Return 

        Start a return by using any one of the following:

        • Your Account → Orders → Order Details → Return
        • Chat widget → Start a return request
        • Help Centre → Start a return request (top of page shortcut)
        • Help Centre → Contact Form → Start a return request (top of contact form option)

        We’ll issue an RMA with instructions. Do not ship without an RMA.


        Return Shipping & Logistics

        • Within Canada: For approved returns for refund or store credit, we provide a prepaid parcel label or schedule/pay for LTL freight pickup.
        • Warranty returns (all locations): Customer pays shipping to/from our facility unless otherwise approved in writing.
        • International orders: No prepaid returns. Customer arranges and pays return shipping including any customs, duties, taxes, or brokerage. We strongly recommend using a trackable service and purchasing shipping insurance.
        Parcel drop‑offs: If a label is issued, drop off at the designated carrier location.

        Refund Options

        • Store creditFull item value (no restocking fee). Store credit never expires and can be used on any future purchase.
        • Refund to original payment method: 
          • Parcel items: 10% restocking fee 
          • LTL freight: 20% restocking fee
          • When you choose a refund to your original payment method, a restocking fee applies to offset return shipping and logistics costs. For the full item value with no fee, select store credit.

        Timing: After inspection/approval, refunds are issued within 10 business days (bank/issuer processing times may vary).

        Original shipping charges are non‑refundable. If 15 business days pass after approval with no refund, please contact us.


        Damaged or Incorrect Items 

        If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us immediately. We will resolve the issue at no cost to you. 


        Warranty Evaluation Outcomes

        Warranty claims are evaluated for repair or replacement only and do not result in a refund or store credit.

        If no manufacturing or workmanship defect is found, the customer is responsible for shipping to and from Canpump, and diagnostic or evaluation fees may apply.

        To help avoid unnecessary costs, we strongly recommend contacting our support team for troubleshooting before initiating a warranty claim. Many issues can be resolved without returning the product.
